The Maker:
Alex Zagami is a native New Yorker, third generation entrepreneur, and mom to two boys. Her grandpa Sonny owned a bakery in New York’s Little Italy and her mother had a successful hair salon before starting her own bakery business. Growing up in an Italian family, Alex realized early on that her love language is food and gift giving. That ethos has driven the mission of her brand PiccoliNY, which launched in 2011. PiccoliNY quickly became recognized for its uniquely New York designs that draw inspiration from the city and its famous foods such as hot dog pretzel NY tees and lox bagel baby teethers.
