The Maker:

Seattle Chocolate Company puts a lot of care into what they do - from sourcing cacao to flavor development to packaging design, and everything in between! As a Certified Woman Owned Business with deep roots in Seattle, they believe in always doing the right thing, in life and in business.  Seattle Chocolate Company began in 1991, creating their signature meltaway truffles and truffle bars in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. When the original factory was destroyed by the Nisqually Earthquake in 2001, entrepreneur and mother Jean Thompson was an investor in the company. Never one to turn down a challenge, Jean stepped up as Owner + CEO of Seattle Chocolate in 2002, learning quickly along the way and creating a fresh new look for the chocolate brand. Everything is still made in their own (new) factory in Seattle, Washington.
