Design-inspired by the National Park System's 100th anniversary poster series from 2016, the Philly Outside posters celebrate (and support) the beauty of Philadelphia's own Fairmount Park - one of the largest urban green spaces in the country.
Created and once-owned by Philly Outside, the designs - we are excited to announce - are now exclusively printed by Ali's Wagon! We loved them so much we just couldn't see them go as the people behind Philly Outside moved on to other ventures. Andy Thompson, a Philly native, created the series in collaboration with the Friends of the Wissahickon and the Fairmount Park Conservancy with the design help of artist Matt Brown. They loved the design of the vintage National Park posters and wanted to celebrate the local green areas in the same style. Celebrate our favorite park with the four original designs - Schuylkill River,Wissahickon Valley, Valley Green, and Belmont Plateau!
In preservation of the original intent of the posters, a portion of the proceeds benefits both the Friends of the Wissahickon and the Fairmount Park Conservancy.
