The Maker:
Cody Foster learned craft-making from his grandmother Isa Foster, a loving no-nonsense Midwestern woman with the spirit of a pioneer. Starting with holiday ornaments - and with the support of his mom as a business partner - Cody started making ornaments while still in high school. One thing led to another, and before they knew it were a growing company! Cody Foster & Co. has grown and prospered over the years but they remain a small, family-run business and retain their small-town Midwestern roots. They're located in Valentine, a rustic "frontier" town in the picturesque Sand Hills region of north- central Nebraska.
When designing, Cody draws inspiration from many sources but especially from offbeat vintage pieces and unconventional antiques. Almost all their items are handmade, using honest materials and finishes. Cody & his family hope you'll enjoy your new ornaments as much as they enjoy creating them.
