Blue Q was started by 2 brothers in 1988 and they have been proud designers and manufacturers of life-improving, joy-bringing products ever since! Fun and irreverent with social consciousness at the heart of everything they do, that’s the essence of Blue Q products. Each line donates a portion of proceeds to a specific cause - oven mitts & aprons to hunger relief initiatives, socks to Doctors without Borders, coin purses & zipper pouches to The Nature Conservancy, etc. They maintain a partnership with Berkshire County Arc (BCArc), through which they are able to hire individuals with disabilities to work at the company. Originally based in Boston they soon moved the company to Pittsfield, Mass where all Blue Q orders are still packed & shipped.
