This classic nusantara tunic has been updated with a simple black pinstripe - the flattering boat neck and a flow-y yet fitted cut make it a forever favorite! There are small slits at each hip for a great fit. But what we really love about this piece is that because the fabric has a natural crinkled texture to it you never have to iron it!
- Each piece is hand dyed and hand cut in small batches by artisans in Thailand.
- Variation in dye lots is normal and a result of changing weather during the dying process.
- Sizing: Because each piece is unique Nusantara tends to size things within a range. For example Small/Medium, Large/Extra Large.
- Fabric: 100% Thai Cotton
- Care: Wash in cold water. Hang drying is recommended. (But we find using tumble dry on low is fine when in a hurry)!
Meet the Maker:
From when Steve Mustukas first started Nusantara till now his mission has remained unchanged: to find unique, one-of-a-kind goods produced in ways that help rather than exploit artisans in less developed countries. He believes in sharing the beauty of the east with those in the west!
Currently he has traveled to over 35 countries and visits Indonesia, Thailand, India, and Nepal to continue his quest for the exotic and unusual. Over time, Steve has developed an extensive line of fashion accessories, all handcrafted and made from the finest silks, wools, and Pashmina. His collection only continues to grow with his love of travel and the far-east.
