handmade with recycled material

This is one of our favorite pieces by Fairmount, Philadelphia based furniture maker and craftsman Dusty! The island is made of spalted oak from a 200 year old downed church in Northern Liberties that was paired with a salvaged tool cabinet for a bold, stunning look. The best part? The top on this piece is on hinges and can easily be lifted up to access a decent amount of internal storage! Perfect as a kitchen island or dinning room service cabinet, or even as a desk, this piece is even cooler in person!

We love that Dusty searches out antique and salvageable materials to be paired with responsibly harvested wood and given a second life as your new favorite piece of furniture.

If you are interested in this piece and local to Philadelphia please shoot us an email at info@division-iv.com or give us a call at 267.866.8336 so that we can put it on hold for you and arrange a pick up time that is convenient for you!
